Above are some shots taken of Malaysia’s film queen Erra Fazira and her daughter Engku Aleesya, Friday, 20th November 2009 in Kuala Lumpur during a dinner function as a tribute to the success of a reality show entitled “Gugu Gaga Erra”, featuring Erra and her daughter. If i’m not mistaken, this is the first time i worked with Erra.

Indonesia’s President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono visits Malaysia

Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Wednesday began his two-day first official visit to Malaysia since he took his oath of office for the second term in October.  President Susilo was given the official welcoming ceremony at the Parliament square in Kuala Lumpur in the presence of King Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin and Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak , November 11, 2009.

A visit to PPRT homes in Kota Damansara

Today i went to cover Adun (state councilor) of Kota Damansara, Dr Nasir Hashim visiting the sad state of the PPRT ( Program Pembangunan Rakyat Termiskin-Development Programme For The Extremly Poor) homes. It was a shocking experience to see the conditions of the people who have to live there.

1Malaysia logo made of 20 sen coins

Kindergarten pupils gather around their newly made giant “1Malaysia” logo, created using 220,220 pieces of 20 sen coins, in Kuala Lumpur November 1, 2009. About 800 students from 28 kindergartens contributed their pocket money to save 44,044 ringgit for the purpose. 1Malaysia is a concept by Malaysia’s Prime Minister Najib Razak to promote inclusiveness in the country’s multi-ethnic society. The money goes back to the students as their individual savings.

Installation of Negri Sembilan new ruler

Negri Sembilan welcomed a new ruler after 40 years. The installation ceremony of Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir was held at Istana Besar Seri Menanti in Kuala Pilah on Monday. More photos HERE at thestaronline.

Budget 2010

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has tabled Budget 2010 with the theme “1Malaysia, Together We Prosper”. Totalling RM191.5 bil, he said it would be the foundation of a new economic model and precursor to the 10th Malaysia Plan.

Lux Masquerade Princess search finalists

The Lux team went on a search in Malaysia for six beauties who would be the finalist to win the Lux Maquerade Princess tiltle. Above picture is the six finalists revealed to the media at a press conference yesterday.

Joey Yung

Went to a press conference for Hong Kong singer/actress Joey Yung’s 6th Mandarin album, today in Kuala Lumpur. The whole session was conducted in mandarin so i was kinda lost. Nevertheless according to a friend, Joey is really famous in Hong Kong. Here are some photos taken at the press conference.

Section 23 and temple issue

A dialogue session in Shah Alam between Selangor Mentri Besar (chief minister) Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim and Section 23 residents over the relocation of a temple turned unruly on Saturday.
